Official delegations must consist of a total of four members. They must include a Minister or equivalent (delegation leader), with the remaining three places being taken by up to two union leaders and one teaching professional. The teaching professional should be a current classroom practitioner, a representative of a teacher preparation programme or a school leader. The delegation may also include two advisors – one advisor may be chosen by the Minister/delegation leader and one by the union(s).

The UK and Scottish Government will cover accommodation and breakfast for up to three nights (28, 29, 30 March 2017) for the official delegation of four.

We do have preferential rates at the hotels for ISTP Summit shoulder nights subject to availability.  ISTP participants should request additional nights in writing to enquiries@istp2017.uk and we will confirm as soon as possible.

Please note that transfer from the airport/train station to the hotel is not included. Public transportation however is well accessible and organised. Find out more here.

The summit will be held in English only.  However, if countries wish to bring their own interpreters, they must contact enquiries@istp2017.uk to arrange an interpretation booth.  Please note, this must be arranged by 9 March 2017.
